OuterSpace is a South Florida design practice working with plants, habitat, objects, and atmosphere. We build gardens that behave like places rather than products, shaped by heat, rain, shade, growth, decay, and the particular character of the subtropics. Our work moves between hospitality, residential, and commercial spaces, with an emphasis on native species, cultivated plant material, and landscapes that feel discovered rather than installed.
Much of what we use is grown, collected, or selected in house, from plant material to vessels and uncommon botanical forms. Our thinking is informed by horticulture, permaculture, and animal husbandry, but the outcome is deliberately simple. A few strong elements, enough space, and a living system that becomes more itself over time.
